Fostering our culture of service, Life Credit Union provides all full-time employees 40 hours annually for paid Volunteer Time Off to serve the charitable cause or organization of their choice.

• Health Insurance– A comprehensive HRA medical and prescription coverage plan provided by BlueCross BlueShield of TN with shared premium costs with our employees.
• Dental &Vision Insurance – Premium costs are shared by the Credit Union with the employee.
• Life Insurance– At no charge to the employee, your coverage amount is based on salary and package level.
• Long Term Disability– Income protection comes with our long-term disability plan.
• Voluntary Life Insurance– Additional life insurance coverage is available for employees and dependents. Premium costs are paid by the employee.

Retirement Plan – Your financial security is important to us so we maintain a 401(k) plan for eligible employees. In the plan, employees may make pre-tax contributions and we will match employee contributions up to 6%. Employees are 100% vested immediately.

Paid Time Off & Holidays – We provide a generous amount of paid time off (PTO) for employees. The number of hours accrued each period increases with years of employment. All government holidays are approved off days in addition to PTO.

Employee Discounts

Mortgage Loans – After one full year of employment, the customary origination fee of 1% is waived for full-time employees who are eligible.

Consumer Loans – A 1% reduction on the stated interest rate for consumer loans, except those secured by shares or by real property, is offered to full-time employees after completion of the initial training period. We will also provide a 2% reduction on the stated rate of interest for unsecured consumer loans, except lines of credit, single payment loans, and credit cards.

Credit Union Services – Many credit union services are provided at no cost or at a reduced charge to our employees.

Professional Image Plan Loan – To assist employees in presenting an appropriate business and professional image to our members, the Credit Union provides an interest-free revolving loan to employees who have completed their initial training period and are eligible within the guidelines. You may buy clothes, cosmetics, and prescription eyewear for work and repay the amount in small monthly payments at no interest.

Computer Loan – To further their professional development and enhance their technological skills, there is a program to assist employees in purchasing home computer systems, which are repaid in small monthly payments at no interest.
